Business Analyst – Derivatives Clearing Operations recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Management of the entire project lifecycle for various derivatives projects.

• Act as subject matter expert on the derivatives clearing process.

• Assist Derivatives Operations management and Project Manager to define future vision for Operations, including processes and organizational structure.

• Provide status updates on the progress of the project to stakeholders.

• Develop accurate and detailed business requirements with the support of the appropriate resources.

• Develop relationships with technology solution providers.

• Develop comprehensive and robust test plan/cases and coordinate test execution.

• Initiate change management to adapt solutions and resources to a rapidly evolving business.

• Liaison with other members of the bank; including but not limited to sales and relationship management, product and functions areas to support Derivatives projects and onboardings.

• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.

• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project.

• Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years financial services business analysis experience with an emphasis on listed derivatives products

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies including project plans, risk mitigation, issue tracking and communication plans.

• Prior experience working on projects within a derivatives operations environment is required

• Experience with the clearing and settlement of U.S. Listed Equity Index Options and Futures products

• Prior experience in vendor Request for Proposal (RFP) process a plus

• Excellent Communication skills, proactive approach to resolution of process deficiencies

• Bachelor degree required
