BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

£25,000 - £30,000 + car allowance, bonus and benefits

 

A rapidly expanding Marketing Services and Communications business, part of a larger, well-established Group of Companies, is actively seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join its creative delivery team based in North Birmingham.  The Business Development Manager role is a newly created appointment for the Company and it will be pivotal to the continued development of existing and newly acquired client accounts across a range of SME business sectors

 

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager position will have at least 3 years business to business sales experience and will have a broad understanding of the essential elements across the full marketing mix.  A gifted communicator, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating new business streams to deliver marketing and communications services to clients using a variety of sales and marketing methods including research, sales calls,  client meetings and creation/delivery of business presentations and proposals. We are looking for a professional and very capable sales person who, by understanding the “nuts bolts” of Clients’ businesses can help them to apply effective marketing communications strategies, which in turn, cement profitable and long lasting relationships with their own clients.

 

As this role entails extensive face to face client communication, we are looking for an impeccably presented, professional, capable and credible individual who can easily engage with decision-making clients at all levels in business.  Your sales experience is likely to have been gained in a Marketing,  Communications, PR, Recruitment or Professional Services environment and we are particularly interested in candidates who have good experience of managing business accounts and selling services to SME sector clients
