Business Development Manager

This year has seen unprecedented growth across the Australian market place which is expected to flow into 2012. They are looking to employ an Enterprise Business Development Manager and continue to grow sales within the Melbourne market.
About the Role:
In this role you will be responsible for increasing sales growth throughout the Enterprise and Corporate market place in Melbourne. You will achieve this through identifying, developing and converting sales opportunities into revenue. You will build relationships with key stakeholders throughout an organisation namely with Corporate Strategy Managers, Legal Counsel and C- Level executives.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Drive new sales growth across a variety of clients including; Banks and the top ASX 100 companies.
- Influence decision makers as part of the overall sales process.
- Meet and exceed challenging sales targets
- Develop a defined strategy to ensure regular contact with key decision makers and influencers.
- Build in-depth knowledge of customers requirements and decision making processes
- Respond to formal proposals and tender processes
Key Skills and Requirements:
- You will have proven experience working as a sales professional, with a background in selling either technology solutions or services into the top 100 ASX listed organisations in Australia.
- You will have a high level of relationship building skills with the ability to establish mature business relationships and be seen as a trusted advisor.
- You will have exceptional communication and negotiation skills and the ability to close opportunities quickly
- A sense or maturity and organisational skills coupled with strong motivation, resilience and the willingness to exceed your potential will be highly regarded.
