Business Development Manager London recruitment

Based in London, this prestigious private bank with a global footprint has created a new role due to the volume of business they are encountering now and what they anticipate in the future.

The role is wide ranging. You will work closely with the Private Bankers to market the bank's trust services and identify structuring opportunities for clients where appropriate. The client base in centred on specific emerging markets and as such travel will be required to the regions in question. In addition, you will also play an integral role in training the relationship managers to be equipped to raise wealth structuring issues with their clients and promote awareness of the fiduciary solutions you can offer.

You will possess probably a minimum of five years' experience acquired within a trust and fiduciary context and have a solid multi-jurisdictional knowledge (with an emphasis on offshore). An appropriate qualification such as STEP and/or Solicitor/ACA/ACCA would be distinctly advantageous. Highly developed communication skills and a natural client facing demeanour will be taken as a given. Evidence of a natural sales/marketing orientation would be helpful.

The position is revenue generating so a natural commercial outlook will be indispensable for the successful individual.
