Business development Manager recruitment
Key Result Areas: The Business Development Manager will primarily have an impact on improving sales within China.
You will work closely with other members of the Business Development Team and with Research Managers but will also be required to build relationships across the organisation. Externally you will deal with a variety of clients across industries.
Duties Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting new clients and managing a pipeline of new accounts across Greater China
2. Meet with prospective clients together with other team members
3. Negotiating commercial terms with clients
4. Generating pipeline of leads and client referrals
5. Contribute to major strategic decisions in the sales team
Requirements:
1. In excess of 3 years’ experience of working in a sales function serving private equity or directly within a private equity organisation
2. Large network of contacts across Chinese PE and consulting firms
3. Good understanding of financial markets and alternative investments
4. Fluent Mandarin and English speaker
5. Ability to generate leads and follow up effectively, excellent networking skills.
6. Ability to negotiate commercial terms
7. Strong ability to articulate key messages and value proposition, strong presentation skills
8. Other language skills
9. Ability to connect with and convince sophisticated clients
10. Able to travel to meet the demands of the role
