Equities Business Manager

FX/IR Business Manager
- Provide the information for all the connectivity between Business and Support – daily and strategic interaction with Support teams – prioritization of their work by business needs, discussion of business plan objectives and constraints
- Provide recommendation for the approval of Support headcount
- Provide Head of Business DevelopmentSupport and Head of Processes Development with information and analytics necessary for headcount planning,
- Provide HR with business side view of the documentation on HR matters (job descriptions, approvals for new staff); internship program
- Provide Finance, Risk, and all involved Support teams with information required for business planning – by product/ desk split, reforecasting;
- Provide MIS with explanations behind performance; split between desks
- On behalf and under observation of Head of Business DevelopmentSupport and Head of Processes Development, provide for budgeting, post-budget cost control; cost allocations by desk; sign-off on all costs
- On behalf and under observation of Head of Business DevelopmentSupport and Head of Processes Development coordinate the product development process from business side; prioritizing among many products
- Act on any other required project type work as requested by Head of Processes Development
- On behalf and under observation Head of Business DevelopmentSupport prepare normative documentation from the business side (procedures, etc)
New Products Implementation
- Project manager oversee the delivery of New Product initiatives into Front to back organization
- Assessment of initiative impact, liaison with support departments and IT
- Issue tracking and management of issue resolution
- Manage stakeholder sessions and own relationship with specific businesses.
- On-going development and enforcement of the New Product policy and best practices
- Administration of New Product document repository
- Completion of post-implementation reviews
- Interaction with all required governance forums
- Monitoring, reporting and reviewing all New Product caveats
Regulatory and Market Driven Change
- Work with Compliance to ensure a forward looking regulatory monitoring process to understand the pipeline
- Lead the Regulatory Change oversight forum, coordinating across all relevant functions.
- Track all live initiatives in the broader program, escalating to senior management with any significant issues ad appropriate mitigation plans
- Define, deliver and maintain a reporting capability that informs all appropriate stakeholders of regulatory and market driven change
- Define and enforce framework for planning, organization and control of the work to achieve the goals of the project with the required quality, cost and on the scheduled date
- Work closely with the IBGM transformation and business process management leads to develop an integrated transformation program
- Ensure that any technology selection, planning, design and delivery is led by business needs, aligned to objectives and its dependent projects
- Manage the interactions and feedback across the various business and project teams
- Participate in transitioning the business and process requirements into technical specifications, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
- Make proposals to improve the management of projects in the Bank
Front Office Controls
- Manage remediation of issues arising from Internal Audits, Operational Risk reviews, Compliance reviews, and regulatory reviews/enquiries
- Manage trade-processing incidents derived from KPIs, clients/brokers, Operations
- Review existing front to back control framework, identify deficiencies and implement robust solutions
- Establish and manage control-KPI/KRI framework and metrics
- Establish and manage supervisory framework for Sales and Trading, including the roll out of respective manuals
- Single point of contact for the business for Internal Audit, Compliance and Operational Risk
