Care Supervisor
Hays Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Care Supervisor role in a Nursing Home in the West Midlands area. To apply you must be a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC Pin and have the right to work in the UK.
You will be supporting the Service Manager in the running of a 24 bedded purpose built home on the outskirts of Redditch. You will be dealing with patients with Physical Disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, MS, MND, Brain Injury, and Muscular Dystrophy. All patients rooms are en-suite and there are many different activities on a day to day basis.
Shifts worked are either 7am – 2.45pm, or 2.30pm – 9pm using a 3 week rota system. 3 of these shifts per week will be admin based, and 2 will be on shift in the home.
Duties:
Support and lead the team
Optimize clinical excellence and standards of care in the home
Supervise staff and organise staff rota
Audit of personal plans and medication
Requirements:
Registered General Nurse Level 1 and 2 with current valid NMC pin
Previous leadership and management experience in a supervisory role
Computer literate
Lead role/ ability to take charge
