Cash Equities Operations Change Associate.
An outstanding opportunity has arisen within a leading global investment bank for a Cash Equities Operations Change Manager. The successful candidate will join the Equities Change organisation, primarily supporting the London Cash Equities Change team.
In this role, the Change delivery associate will be involved in a variety of local and global projects, with the opportunity to perform roles such as Project Manager, Business Analyst and Business Process Reengineering Analyst. The role holder will also be partnering with the Global Equities Change team to deliver Change initiatives.
Main Duties
- Engage and effectively manage project sponsor(s) and key stakeholders.
- Where required effectively track and document key milestones, requirements, scope, effort and resources.
- Effectively build project plans taking into consideration project dependencies, constraints and key risk and issues.
- Obtain sponsorship for key projects.
- Accountable for owning critical issues and ensuring resolution within agreed timescales/ or identifying mitigating plans.
- Regular communication of project status, variances and slippages from agreed plan.
- Effectively manage the escalation of project risks and issues
- Build and maintain positive relationships with regional and global management, business partners and stakeholders
- Responsible and accountable for owning and driving initiatives.
- Diligently integrates change management initiatives into project plans.
- Leverage approved project tools / methodologies I.E Six Sigma, Risk Based Project Management etc.
- Accountable for recording of project documentation as per requirements.
- Regular/adequate level of project governance and stakeholder communications.
- Partnering with Global Operations Change team to improve, define and implement project best practises
Key Skills Experience
- Proven Project Management skills and experience
- Experience of working in a banking environment and change projects
- Understanding of Cash Equity lifecycle and processes
- Any exposure to Equity Derivatives or Equity Finance Operations would be of additional benefit
- Project management qualifications (eg Prince2, PMP) desirable.
- Six Sigma/ Business Process Reengineering qualifications (e.g Green belt) would be a benefit.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
