Chief Technology Officer recruitment
My client who are a software specialising in the Trading and Risk space require a Global CIO to join their team in Hong Kong. The organisation sell Trading and Risk applications into the Investment Banking and Hedge Fund sector and due to increasing sales, there is now a demand to recruit a Head of Technology to drive their product strategy forward.
Asia and in particular Hong Kong is viewed as the big area of growth for the organisation so the role will be based here but will have remit across the whole of Asia, Europe and the US. The organisation is fairly niche at the moment but the forecasts for this year are fairly aggressive and it is projected that this role will look after a team of 30+ by the end of 2012. Your core responsibilities will include:
*Driving product strategy forward
*Reporting into the group CEO and the group board
*Managing relationships with senior external clients
*Managing the full technology budget and P+L
*Hiring best of breed technologists and building global teams
This is a critical hire for a company that lives and dies by its technology offering. Its important that you have experience of working within the financial services sector and preferably a mixture of working in large corporate environments as well as smaller, more boutique environments.
