The Role
Currently, we are looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to develop CIFM primarily in Guangdong area of Mainland China. Major job responsibilities are:
- Achieve business and sales targets which include client acquisition and AUM building by promoting company's investment products to primarily Guangdong high net worth clients
- Explore new business opportunities by pro-active outbound activities, including frequent travelling to Mainland China for client meetings and events
- Manage all aspects of client relationship, develop and maintain long-term relationships through strong personal networks and contacts
- Actively involve in prospecting and acquiring new clients, cultivate prospect lists and actively convert them into clients and deepen relationships
- Deliver investment advisory services to both existing and prospective clients by face-to-face client meetings and outbound / inbound sales calls
- Participate and support sales activities through external promotion, exhibition, client seminars and business related events and projects
- Maintaining client relationships, answering clients' enquiries, day-to-day account operations
- Establish close working relationship with other team members to make best use of available resources
Skills
- University degree holder and / or with around 8 years of investment advising experiences
- Native in Mandarin and good in English, fluency in Cantonese is a definite plus
- Strong knowledge on relevant financial markets and instruments, especially on mutual funds
- Highly customer oriented, self-motivated and value team work
- Strong presentation skills, an excellent communicator with client facing experience
- Proven track record on investment sales and / or relationship management performance
- Able to work under minimal supervision; adaptable to work in demanding environment
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
