This global premier bank offers diverse products to its global network of clients. With strong market capitalization and financial performance, the bank is well-positioned to further expand its business globally. It is recruiting a CIO focusing on Performance Management function in support of its Finance Transformation Project across the Bank.

As the CIO and managing a large team, both onshore and offshore, you will be responsible for the Bank’s end-to-end Performance Management. In this multi-faceted role, your responsibilities include the following:

•      Define target operating model (technology and operational) for the end-to-end Performance Management function comprising the processes and technologies used (including TP systems which source the data, in country processes, offshore processes, downstream financial and MI systems)

•      Establish a roadmap to realize the target operating model by leveraging and influencing the Finance Transformation initiatives, business funded projects and Finance BAU projects

•      Relationship Management and Stakeholder Engagement (across business and finance streams, act as a single point of contact for the global function and ensure that all end user requirements are captured, prioritized and delivered, facilitate and engage appropriate forums to proactively communicate and manage expectations, and ensure issues are properly escalated and addressed)

•      Work with the product management and support teams – to ensure user requirements and strategies are firmly understood and embedded into the periodical release cycles for the individual products

•      Custodian of the end-to-end data flow / processing / quality assurance and reporting of all components connected with the global process of function

•      Develop appropriate measures, metrics and KPI’s for the end to end process with associated targets and continual improvement programs.

•      “Gate-Keeper” for the global function roadmap to support business aspirations and objectives (Central co-ordination point for all requirements emanating from various business stakeholders, manage business priorities for new projects / initiatives / change requests, involving cross business functional committees, and assist Business to prepare Business Requirements Document facilitating signoff and alignment to QMF processes)

•      Coordination of signoffs for functional specification. Support the user engagement from a testing perspective to ensure requirements are adequately tested and implemented in production

•      Establish / manage a robust working relationship with the offshore processing team for running of the operational processes on a BAU basis

•      Lead initiatives that will facilitate maturing of the global process of function platform through linkages to the industry best practices, voice of customer etc.

You will have exposure to working in a stake-holder management role in a multinational bank with exposure to project management disciplines and managing inter-relationships between teams. With cross cultural working experience, you have a strategic thinking and courageous in challenging accepted norms to gain efficiencies or exceed customer expectations. You will have a proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills including a track record in delivery on commitments and ability to manage and influence virtual teams and matrix responsibilities to achieve goals.
