Client asset control analyst

Initial temporary contract for 6 months for leading investment and asset management organisation. 35 hours a week Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm based in Manchester city centre. Due to the nature of the business if successful candidates will need to pass a strict credit check and 5 year referencing.

This team performs a variety of control processes in support of UK regulated business, responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective control across all platforms and business lines to enable compliance with client money and asset protection.
You will be assisting in the delivery of control and risk monitoring processes. Questioning practises and identifying areas of potential risk that require investigation. Production and analysis of management reporting for regulatory and internal oversight.

Duties
• Create CASS oversight
• CASS KRI production and CMAR data reconciliation
• Produce management, escalation breach and regulatory reporting
• Produce Daily Legal Entity Reconciliation data,
• Analyse reporting to minimise operational risk and ensure on-going compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the development and continual improvement of management information reports to ensure data and metrics are relevant and add value.
• Perform Internal Settled But Short Oversight and produce MIS.
• Perform CSR (Custody Stock Record) exception analysis and Oversight.
• Analyse reporting in an effort to minimise operational risk and ensure on-going compliance with regulatory standards.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective query resolution.
• Maintain and develop cross functional working relationships.
• Ensure all queries are responded to within 24 hours.
• Assist in the implementation of new tasks and/ or processes to Client Asset Control.
• Conduct Impact analysis of new policies and regulatory requirements in co-operation with Risk, Compliance and other stakeholders.

Requirements
• Previous experience in a financial services environment
• Previous experience in a Custody environment
• Previous knowledge/experience of CASS regulatory requirements -
• Ability to quickly understand and interpret data.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
