KSR is currently seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst to work for our client, a diagnostic lab, in Tempe, AZ. This is a contract opportunity and is a great way to join a secure institution. SUMMARY This position will involve lab reporting and resulting development, modification and validation on the company?s LIS system. RESPONSIBILITIES Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable clinical systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity, capabilities, limitations, cost-effectiveness and desired results. Includes analysis of clinical, business, and user needs, regulatory requirements, documentation requirements, and translation of those requirements into proper system requirement specifications suitable for the technical staff. QUALIFICATIONS A strong background in clinical lab information systems is required for success in this position A Bachelors degree in a health care related field, computer science and two years experience in clinical lab/Pathology OR five years of related experience. System implementation experience in multiple application systems areas is a plus. Expert with PC based productivity tools (e.g. spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail). Excellent human relation and communication skills are also essential, as this position will be interfacing with all levels of employees and physicians. AZ driver?s license or the ability to obtain one is required. Experience working with general lab in a clinical testing role is highly preferred. Experience using a SQL-based system, a plus.
