Commercial Manager – Netherlands

 

ResMed is a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of products for the screening, treatment and long-term management of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) and other respiratory disorders.
 
ResMed operates in over 70 countries via 16 direct offices and a network of distributors with extensive knowledge and experience of local markets. ResMed was formed in 1989, and since then has maintained its focus on SDB, which is gaining greater public and physician awareness. Operations have grown dramatically through the introduction of a number of highly innovative product lines.

As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for:

 

Ø  Driving sales growth and market share for the OSA, Patient Interface and Ventilation in this country via accredited distributors.

Ø  Increasing the brand awareness of ResMed throughout the Netherlands. 

Ø  Identifying and assessing new business opportunities with new and existing partners; and implement these as required

Ø  Achieving quarterly sales targets set for the region in Sleep Diagnostics, Patient Interface and Ventilation products

Ø  Contributing to the development and implementation of marketing strategies throughout the region as agreed with the Commercial Manager BeNeLux.

Ø  Organising and implementing training and educational programmes for the Sleep Labs and Hospitals with the aim of driving patient referrals for ResMed products and increasing ResMed’s market presence.

Ø  Developing strong relationships with Doctors and Key Opinion Leaders to proactively promote the ResMed brand and to drive referrals in relation to OSA, ventilation and cardiology.

Ø  Reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis on sales, market share, competitor activity and products. Provide detailed analysis on trends, opportunities and threats within the market.

Ø  Working with the other Commercial Manager within the Netherlands to ensure work is aligned and strives to meet and exceed country targets.

Ø  Ensuring correct and timely launches of new products, in cooperation with marketing managers in Europe.

 

Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken) is essential and to be fluent in French is highly desirable.

 

The location of the successful candidate is flexible as this is a field sales position but must be within the Netherlands.

A degree in either a life science or business related discipline is essential as is proven sales success within the Dutch medical device field.

 

A Clinical qualification with a background in sleep and/or respiratory medicine is highly desirable
