Commodities Business Analyst recruitment
Business Analyst – Commodities Trading – London – c.£80,000 + benefits.
Commodities Business Analyst required to work for a Global Commodities Trading Firm.
The successful candidate will be working on a number of Greenfield projects which will shape the strategic direction of the business, enjoying considerable business buy-in and support.
Most notably, there are already large budgets already in place.
You will be a key part in the Business Analyst team to delivering technology solutions that are the best in the market.
As a senior member of this well established global BA team, your focus will be on the delivery of strategic global initiatives, with a strong focus on business process re-engineering.
This is a high profile position with frequent exposure to business heads and product leads, hence interpersonal communication and presentation skills are very important.
Owing to the nature of this requirement, the successful candidate is highly likely to come from a commodities trading firm, or an investment banking background.
Required Experience
• Commodities product knowledge
• Track record of delivery
• Ability to work consistently and accurately under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of delivering structured change
• A successful track record of delivery.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of successfully interacting, influencing and communicating at all business levels.
• Project Initiation (project scoping and planning)
• Business Analysis (requirements gathering and documentation)
• Functional Design (preparation and documentation of Functional Specifications and Use Cases)
• Technical Design (review of Technical Specifications)
• Test planning, preparation and execution (preparation of system and integration test plans, test cases and test progress reporting)
• Facilitating UAT and User Integration
