Compliance Advisory Manager – Retail Banking recruitment
Our client, a leading international bank is looking for a Retail Banking Compliance Adviser to provide advice, guidance and support to the business in all aspects of their retail banking business. The individual would help to ensure and maintain high regulatory standards to enhance and protect the reputation of the firm.
Duties Include:
• Ensure that the business is conducted in line with industry good practice and that is operates to high regulatory and compliance standards.
• Liaise with and provide guidance to Senior Management.
• Keep management informed of regulatory changes and assess the impact on relevant business activities.
• Actively support the Retail Banking businesses by providing detailed compliance advice / guidance in relation to existing and new business initiatives.
• Monitor changes to business practices and products to ensure that compliance procedures and controls are adequate to cover them.
• Monitor of on-going technical regulatory advice ensuring a compliant environment for the business.
• Effectively deliver implement operational and regulatory project across Compliance and the business.
• Provide Compliance Inductions on-going refresher for operations staff.
The preferred candidate will have significant experience in UK compliance with a retail banking background and demonstrate a strong understanding of retail banking business (in particular FSA BCOBS ICOBS knowledge). You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
