Job Scope:
Responsible for:
Compliance
- Produce and implement a structured compliance monitoring plan
- Provide regular monitoring reports and a detailed quarterly Compliance report to Risk Committee.
- Co-ordination, monitoring and reporting of executive level complaints.
- Timely escalation of emerging risks and issues.
- Provide guidance to business areas on unregulated compliance matters.
- Subject matter expert on all internal compliance policies and provide guidance to staff when required.
- Monitor regulatory developments with an impact and report to the Risk Committee on a regular basis.
- Oversee Anti Money Laundering and Customer Due Diligence processes within. Manage case referrals, escalating to appropriate. Manage Financial Crime agenda, and act as ABC officer.
- Manage restricted dealing list and pre-trade clearances.
- Conducting compliance induction and training.
Risk
- Produce and implement the Annual Risk Plan
- Take responsibility for delivering specific risk reviews as part of the overall risk review cycle and present findings to the Risk Committee when appropriate.
- Undertake reviews of emerging risks as directed by the Risk Committee.
- Relationship management of a specific business area, to develop a good understanding of the current and emerging operational risks within that department.
- Project manage and implement new initiatives as agreed with the COO and UK Head of Risk Management and Compliance
- Deliver accurate and concise risk reports to internal stakeholders.
- Timely escalation of emerging risks and issues.
- Provide guidance to business areas on all risk related matters.
- Build a network of internal risk contacts.
- Co-ordination of Risk Committee reporting.
- Coordination of business continuity management across Singapore, and data security.
Requirements:
- Degree holder
- Audit training
- 7-10 years experience preferably with a real estate fund management firm or private equity firm
- Familiar with Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act and MAS regulations
- Legal qualification is advantageous
- To understand and demonstrate positive behaviours in line with our corporate values.
