Compliance Business Partner – GI recruitment
This top General Insurer are seeking a Compliance Business Partner to join their newly re-strcutred Compliance team.
This is a highly visible commercial role which will sit within the firm's General Insurance arm and will work closely with Underwriters and the wider business in regards to the provision on Compliance and Regulatory advice and guidance. This will focus on current and upcoming regulatory requirements, as well as, on projects, products and any potential regulatory breaches. You will be a key member of the leadership team and will play both a strategic and operational role. In addition to the provision of advice this role will be responsible for ensuring related policies, procedure, systems and controls are effectively embedded and understood by the business.
The right person for this role will have proven Compliance experience gained from a regulated Financial Services environment; experience gained in a General Insurance environment is highly preferable. Strong experience of operating within a Commercial or business facing or support Compliance role is essential. A deep knowledge of UK regulatory and governance issues is essential.
This role is paying up to GBP65,000 + Benefits and Bonus and will be based in the Midlands. There is the potential that this role could be based in London with travel to the Midlands.
