Compliance Managers – Energy trading recruitment
A leading integrated energy company are seeking compliance managers for their trading division due to expansion. Compliance has a high profile with senior management and the trading team has a strong compliance culture.
The compliance department does not distinguish between advice and surveillance, and uniquely so, the role will cover both activities. You will be responsible for the implementation of an effective compliance programme in your respective product area, either crude or gas, and you will liaise with fellow colleagues to ensure knowledge sharing and strong relationships are maintained across the compliance department.
A perfect candidate will possess an understanding of traded energy products, an insight into markets and strategies, and both physical and paper based trading. They are looking for strong monitoring skills and an understanding relevant regulations and exchange laws, so you must know your MiFID, EMIR, the market abuse directive and be familiar with ICE regulation.
There are a number of roles going across the oil and gas teams and they will look at varying levels of seniority and pay you accordingly, from 40-80K.
