Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the Managed Investments business as a whole. The COO will take accountability for managing the execution of strategy and for meeting the financial, business and operating goals. This individual will be responsible for determining and implementing business goals and growth targets, and for creating specific strategies in order to achieve those targets. The COO must be fully capable of managing multiple teams and the executives who run these teams, which include the following areas: Sales, Marketing, Branch Operations, Technology, Product Management and Program Management. Implements management and operating efficiencies and consolidations, cost savings, structural changes and headcount management. Ensures operational service excellence and client satisfaction. Manages key new programs and business products. Maintains a responsive and efficient technology group. Drives the marketing message and plan. Manages the product and technology platform and the development and implementation of its strategy. Drives sales and revenue goals, pipeline management and reputation. Bachelor's degree required; preferably in a business related field.
Qualifications
-- FINRA Series 7 and 24 required
-- 15+ years experience within the financial services industry
-- Advisory and seperately managed accounts experience preferred
-- Experience managing all aspects and multiple departments within a financial organization
-- Proven strong leadership, communication, teamwork and presentation skills necessary
