The Role:

 

Corporate Bankers work in client relationship teams to serve large international corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world. The role of the Corporate banker is to  drive the essential relationship with clients by delivering insightful corporate finance and working capital management solutions while leveraging a unique global network and managing client risk exposures.

The Corporate Bankers have a comprehensive understanding of the wide range of complex financial issues facing multinational corporations which enables us to deliver innovative global, regional and local solutions to our clients wherever they conduct their business. In order to meet each client’s specific needs, Corporate Bankers partner with product specialists to execute a full array of tailored corporate banking solutions, ranging from cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, custody, clearing and loans to capital markets, derivatives, and structured products. Corporate Bankers collaborate with our Investment Bankers to deliver optimal financing solutions to support our clients’ strategic MA activities. In addition, Corporate Bankers are in charge of managing our credit exposure to each client and they work closely with our Risk Management teams to maximize returns on capital.

 

The Opportunity:

 

Leading an ACA  talent program, my client is looking to hire a number of individuals to join its London based Corporate Banking division.  The division is organised along both global industry and regional lines.

Joining the division as an Analyst/Senior Analyst you will benefit from a structured training program designed to ensure you build invaluable business, technical and leadership skills that will help you navigate and thrive in a fast paced.

 

To excel in this role you will have excellent academics and be ACA qualified in either 2012 or 2013.  Given the global nature of the role languages would be an advantage but are not essential. 

Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal are essential as is a proven track record of successful client relationship management.  Personal qualities of self-motivation, initiative, adaptability and problem solving are sought.  You will be goal orientated and a team player however the ability to work independently is also important.
