Main tasks and responsibilities

Developer and cultivator of leads, using multiple sources including cold calling, dormant and prospective client companies, and in-bound enquiries.

Person specification

Demonstrable sales experience gained within business to business environment marketing and selling

?

Proven experience of developing effective relationships with client prospects during the sales process

?

The presence and gravitas to work with senior management within client companies.

? Ideally, strong understanding of financial markets

?

Excellent communicator with strong listening skills and flexible style.

?

Proactive, efficient and enthusiastic, with exceptionally strong organisational skills

?

Broad knowledge and understanding of financial markets and macro-economic issues. ? Possess a strong academic record

?

Computer literate with proven experience using MS office

? Build and maintain strong and up-to-date pipeline/prospect list within the UK and European Small/Mid-Cap space.

? Attend face to face meetings, conducting pitches and ensure appropriate follow up is undertaken

? Proactively manage individual sales pipeline within the internal CRM system

? Undertake analysis of potential clients to determine those which will deliver the greatest potential value whilst retaining and enhancing the value of the Edison brand.
