Credit Analysis - Large Corporates
We are looking for 5 credit analysts with large corporates experience. You will need to have solid fundamental analysis of PnLs, Balance sheets, Cashflows and sector analysis.
Corporate and Transaction Banking Europe (CTBE) provides flow banking services to large corporates and mid-cap clients and to European subsidiaries of clients across 18 countries inEurope.
Key requirements will be
- The major responsibilities of a Senior Credit Analyst are to objectively diagnose
- and evaluate the Counterparty and Credit Risks of an assigned portfolio as well as monitoring the Bank's exposure and analyse the profitability Clients generate for the Bank.
- They prepare the Annual Reviews (AR) for Pilots and Contributors files that belong to his/her assigned portfolio and present the New Requests (NR) - including prospects - by writing up exhaustive but synthetic Credit Proposals based on a selective commercial and/or risk approach. It includes:
- The annual re-treatment of the Counterparty's financial statements (individual consolidated) into a Spreadsheet.
- The analysis of the lines/global Exposure on a Counterparty/Corporate Group, in terms of commitments, amount, maturity, pricing, utilisations, term sheets, security package, covenants, legal aspects and the assessment of appropriate risk/return per facility, in order to highlight transactional risks.
You will need
- Strong understanding of the UK Banking market and related legal loan documentation
- Knowledge of the issues around subordination, both legal and structural
- Strong presentation skills (both written Oral)
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), additional language skills advantageous
- Negotiation / persuasion skills
- Diligence / attention to detail
- Commercial, industry and market awareness
- Initiative / persistence
- Team working ability
- Self-reliance, ability to operate autonomously, when required
- Good understanding of the Bank and its processes
- Ability to network within the Bank
- Educated to Degree standard
- Formal Credit qualifications
