Credit Risk Reporting Manager – VP recruitment
Working with senior management across the bank, you will be responsible for duties including:
- Acting as point contact for reporting requests from senior management and Group Risk.
- Translating requests and ensuring the quality of reports.
- Producing risk reports for stakeholders, including but not limited to Group Risk and external regulators (FSA, FED) and Rating Agencies.
- Validating and explaining portfolio trends across reports.
- Working with subject matter experts to validate and sign-off key risk reporting metrics.
- Present reports to senior management.
- Utilising Credit Risk knowledge to translate requirements from regulator bodies and act as a data specialist offering guidance to report requestors.
- Validate reports and explain core concepts to stakeholders.
Person Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree / Graduate degree
- Experience within an analytical/technical reporting function – ideally within credit risk
- Experience of credit risk management, reporting and control systems either in a project role or as an end user.
- Strong understanding of key risks controls associated with Risk Management and specifically within an investment bank.
- Solid knowledge of front to back investment banking processes
- Strong people manager and leader to provide ongoing coaching and development of staff.
- Understanding of trading and banking book products.
- Strong attention to detail, delivering high quality work.
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
- Self-starter. Strong sense of initiative with the ability to think independently and pro-actively drive tasks through to completion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel or Access, up to VBA level.
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
