Customer Service–Order Desk Job in Toronto/Gta, Ontario Canada

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 - Accurately process customer transactions and requests regarding orders, quotes or returns, stock availability, shipment notifications.

-  Monitor scheduled shipment dates, incoming and outgoing, to ensure timely delivery, expedite as needed and notify responsible parties.

-   Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint.  Identify trends in customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction.

-   Research and process of necessary credit and debit notes.                           

-   Communicate unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products

-   Ensure costs savings are observed

-   Assist in establishing and writing processes

-   Ability to backup other positions in the department

-   Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the distribution team

-   Observe company policies and procedures

-   Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors

Perform other duties as assigned.                  

 

                        

KNOWLEDGE SKILL REQUIREMENTS:.

 

Fluent in English (both verbal and written) French is an asset

Secondary School Graduate with 5 years related experience

Knowledge of Philips and Speech Processing Products

Good understanding of SAP, WMS, BW

Proven Oral and Written communication skills

Proven customer relation/service experience

Advanced MS Office skills

Ability to backup other positions in the department

Ability to use initiative / judgment and work well under pressure
