Debt Capital Markets Director
Reporting to the Head of IBD, you will take a pro-active role in the execution and origination of a wide range of DCM products (bonds, corporate hybrids, bank capital, liability management, leveraged buy-outs, syndicated loans, private placements, structured products etc) for corporates, banks and sovereigns across Asia-ex-Japan, with a focus on China. You will advise corporate and financial sponsors on acquisition financing and leverage buy-out situations.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the deal execution, which encompasses coordination, due diligence, credit committee approvals, credit ratings processes, covenant negotiations, reviewing transaction documentation and the marketing process. You will need to work closely with other teams in syndications, credit research, credit risk, as well as the industry and coverage bankers.
Qualifications
1) Degree qualified in a finance, accounting or quantitative discipline
2) +7 years relevant work experience either in the DCM space or the capital markets area.
3) Good track record and exposure to DCM, relevant deal experience and sound understanding of debt products.
4) Mandarin speaking with previous China DCM coverage record.
