Assistant to the Head of Treasury (Executive Manager – Treasury)
Job Summary: Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the activities of the Treasury department in accordance with the Bank strategy and Islamic Sharia.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Bank Liquidity
- Quote rates for foreign exchange transactions.
- Maintain the trading / position blotter for FX and MM, and ensure accuracy of positions.
- Manage the statutory ratios as prescribed by the regulatory authorities and as per the strategy/ guideline of the management ensuring no violation.
- Carries out all other duties relating to Asset/Liability management and duties assigned by the Treasurer/ senior management
Candidate Main Profile
A broad profile of our candidate would be about 15 years experience in at least a medium sized Treasury, with knowledge of Balance sheet management and preferably Islamic treasury.
Qualifications
- MBA in accounting (or BBA in accounting with MBA in finance)
- Ideal Candidate: Masters Degree + either an accounting designation (CA; CPA; CFA.)
- Fluency in English is essential, and some basic knowledge in Arabic will be an asset.
