Deputy Payroll Manager

I am recruiting for a high profile, national charity for an experienced Deputy Payroll Manager on a permanent basis.

Following recent legislation, the client is looking to add valuable members to their team to strengthen the financial rigour of the department. The focus of the position will be to uphold outstanding service delivery in the management of payrolls whilst maintaining a high level of quality assurance, issue resolution and people management. The role requires the monitoring of KPI’s and showing proactivity in making improvements within the team. The position will be the main point of contact for payroll-related matters, as well as working alongside the Assurance and Review Team

The ability to create and manage strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders is paramount and there is a strong emphasis on the ability to self-manage and use initiative.

You will need to have a strong previous background in payroll with have a great knowledge of payroll and implementing change. The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working with computerised finance systems, more specifically with MS Office applications, as well as excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
