Management Accountant-12 month FTC

Excellent 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for a part qualified or qualified Management Accountant to work with this well-known facilities and building organisation based in Tidworth, near Andover Hampshire.

Primary responsibility is in supporting the Finance Manager to
ensure the provision of effective financial control and financial support to
satisfy business objectives within the Business

Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with finance policies, processes and
procedures at all times and ensure the business is fully compliant with
audit requirements.
Line management for 2 finance administrators.
Overseeing transaction processing including ensuring appropriate sign
off of invoices and GRN’s recorded for items ordered.
Working with finance administrators, carry out and oversee all tasks
associated with accounting month end including computation of accruals
and validation of cost.
Produce for review by the Finance Manager monthly financial
reports including variance analysis.
Assist in the production of Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts.
Liaise with Central Finance regarding all financial matters including
statutory and internal reporting.
Preparation of customised and regular financial reports as requested by
internal/external customers.
Assist in cost-benefit analysis and financial modelling as required.
Oversee monitoring of commitments against PO/ Subcontractor order
cover.

Qualifications
Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant

Experience, Skills Knowledge:
Excellent working knowledge of accounting processes.
Experience of people management.
Strong numerate and analytical Skills
Working knowledge of TM1 / COGNOS reporting tool
Advanced working knowledge of Excel
Good knowledge of MS Office suite
The ability to understand, comprehend and analyse business information
Ability to understand the relevant basic contractual requirements
Commercial Awareness
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely
