Desktop Support – Notes/Exchange Migration

Desktop Support Engineer required for my Banking client based in London to aid in the support of a current Note to Exchange 2010 Migration project. This position will be working 1st and 2nd Line Support and also helping to deliver on projects.

Candidates will be responsible for:
- Provide Floorwalker function for Exchange migration project.
- Technical escalation point for 1st / 2nd Line Support teams.
- Delivery of project based work / undertake co-ordination role for small projects.
- Ensures that documentation of supported components is available and accessible to all who need to use it.

Candidates will require:

- Experience of Outlook 2010 migrations and user support at a 2nd line level
- Experience of providing user training in one-to-one and small group sessions
- Experience of working in a Global Banking/Financial Services environment
- Experience of supporting the following
*Hardware support: Desktop, Laptop, Thin Clients, Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows7. Software: Outlook 2010, MS Office 2010, Lotus Notes, MS Office 2003
