Job Summary:

The Capital Markets Division of a well-established Islamic Investment Bank in Bahrain is engaged in advising, structuring, managing securitization transaction and placing fixed income and equity offerings for both corporate and sovereign clients. The division also assists clients in analyzing and optimizing their capital structure and assists them in obtaining an efficient and appropriate mix of equity and fixed income finance, including raising equity through private and/or public offerings.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets, you will take a pro-active role in the execution and origination of a wide range of capital markets Sharia’h compliant products (Sukuks/bonds, corporate hybrids, syndicated loans, private placements, structured products etc) for corporates, banks and sovereigns across the MENASAT region.
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the deal execution, which encompasses coordination, due diligence, credit committee approvals, credit ratings processes, covenant negotiations, reviewing transaction documentation and the marketing process. You will need to work closely with other teams in syndications, as well as the industry and coverage bankers.
Assisting senior bankers on quantitative and qualitative market analysis and the preparation of client presentations and other marketing materials in the pursuit of new mandates in capital markets.
Work with clients to manage whole transaction process from origination, execution, syndication and settlement of debt capital market products to fulfill both issuer and market requirements.
Perform origination and execution function covering corporate and institutions client in the MENASAT region.
Recommend deal structure and indicative terms to potential issuers.
Manage deal execution process, including conduct due diligence, compile Offering Circular and other related documents
Liaise with all external professionals to ensure the issuance is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Perform roadshow activities
Work with Settlement on closing matters.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree qualified in a finance, accounting or quantitative discipline
Between 7-10 years relevant work experience in the Capital Market Division of an Investment Bank.
Solidd track record and exposure to DCM, relevant deal experience and sound understanding of capital markets products in the MENASAT region
Strong experience in Islamic Finance
Arabic preferred but not essential.

Relationship Management:

Interface with  [Description: Lucescu Realty] clients when obtaining debt and equity financing.
Develop relationships with Lenders, Special Servicers, Receivers, Government Agencies, and Financial Institutions.
Act as a primary point of contact and relationship manager. Business Development:
Make sales presentations and develop customized proposals to obtain engagements.
Establish a pipeline of transaction opportunities for  [Description: Lucescu Realty] and source advisory service engagements.
Develop third party opportunities for debt and financing. Knowledge:
Remain abreast of fluctuations in the capital markets and submarket activity.
Provide strategic leadership and demonstrate creativity in capital structures, investment options, and forecasting.

Reporting:

Report pipeline progress to Company executives accurately and timely.
Communicate with the  [Description: Lucescu Realty] team accurate timelines and facilitate quality end-products. Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting. Advanced degrees preferred.
7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, specifically in sales and in the banking industry.
Existing strong contact list with established bank relationships.
Track record of successful sales experience.
Sound understanding of commercial real estate and financial products and services.
Experience with properties over $25m in value in the categories of retail, office, and distressed assets.
Extensive knowledge of the Southwestern region.
Investment banking experience a plus.
Strong people skills with high integrity and a team attitude.
This person is also expected to have outstanding written and oral communication skills reflective of the senior management team.
