Director, Executive Benefits Markets Job in Denver (Dtc) 80111, Colorado US

Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with the sales consultants who are selling large case BOLI and COLI plans as a capital investment for funding benefits, including quoting, modifying, exchanging and enhancing stable Value BOLI and COLI cases. May also be responsible for management of the internal wholesalers and in-force wholesalers, including guidance, training, hiring and development of both types of wholesalers.

Essential Functions:

1-Developing and maintaining relationships with COLI and BOLI sales consultants, including coordination and negotiation of case specific quotes and pricing. Analysis of profitability of in force case and impact on earnings for any negotiated options presented.

2-Coordination of the sales effort, including initial quotes, follow-up on cases, developing and updating documents, follow-up on outstanding issues, policy issue, education of clients and sales consultants. On large transactions, assistance as needed in the RFP process including documenting responses, creating pricing quote, running illustrations and packaging official RFP response.

3-Communication and reporting to management regarding sales activity, effect on earnings reporting, internal transfers pipeline, market movements, competitor information and potential new opportunities.

4-May be responsible for training and development of internal wholesaler focused on NQDC cases sold through GWRS and in-force wholesaler focused on existing GWLA BOLI clients.

5-May prioritize projects, communication plans and help coordinate sales support or in-force support efforts of the two wholesalers.

6-May also perform securities compliance oversight as principal assigned registered reps.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field from a 4 year college or university, or equivalent work experience.
• Series 6, 63 and 26 licenses within 90 days of hire, State Insurance license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with BOLI sales and customer relationships.
• Experience with stable value wrappers and bond funds, alpha strategies and non-qualified executive benefit plans; ability to present to large and small groups with high degree of confidence and credibility, strong written communication skills and proven ability to create and maintain effective relationships.
• Knowledge of life insurance products and illustrations is also required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented and ability to coordinate own workflow with staff oversight.
• Extensive travel within the US will be required.
