Equity Derivatives Change Business Analyst recruitment

The role is within the Equity Derivatives Change team as a Project Manager/Business Analyst in the London office, primarily focused on EMEA Equity Derivatives Change initiatives, but also focusing on global strategic middle office platform innovation. The role will be focused on developing innovative ideas, defining change initiatives, developing detailed requirements, and working with various other areas of the bank to successfully implement change. The team has interaction with the Front Office, other Operations’ areas, BUC, Credit Risk, Market Risk and IT in solving complex problems.

The team supports a diverse product range, including vanilla and exotic OTC and securitised products, cash, listed securities, warrants and swaps. The Change team is focused on a range of initiatives, from tactical small improvements to global strategic initiatives. This role requires strong analytical ability, proficiency with Equity Derivatives product or other Derivative products, the ability to define and document requirements, and the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from all areas of the bank.

Day to day responsibilities will include:

Working closely with the Agile Middle Office IT team, Equity Derivative Trade Support and other project groups.
Working closely with the related Trading desks
Stakeholder management
Ability to scope, define and manage IT delivery to implement semi-automated and full STP Equity Derivative trade processing infrastructure
Specific tasks will include business analysis, requirements gathering, preparation of Functional Integration Tests, QA and UAT testing of new functionality, user training and implementation management
Contribute to and help drive the strategy for the Middle Office technology platform

You will have -

OTC and Securitised Derivative Product Knowledge gained working within a line or project role
Knowledge of OTC and Securitised Derivative trade flows, lifecycle management and controls.
Knowledge of trade capture and risk management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that you can tailor to a broad range of audience seniorities with confidence.
Excellent team working and client relationship skills (not necessarily external clients)
Project management experience and knowledge of Equity Derivative products would be an advantage.
