Director, Financial Institution Group
Our client is hiring a seasoned Relationship Manager to provide coverage to Financial Institutions in Asia, develop the Bank's Asian coverage strategy and over time to build a dedicated regional team to capture the maximum cross product business from the Financial Institutions client base.
You will provide client coverage to Financial Institutions (funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and banks) and will position our client as a leading bank for Financial Institutions in the region. The role seeks to identify and assess key business opportunities with the Financial Institutions sector in Asia and will contribute to the profitability of the bank both directly through the origination of large, capital markets transactions and through the day to day flow business with institutional clients.
The successful candidate will seek and develop a network of key external client contacts across the Financial Institutions sector, to strengthen client penetration and bank standing within targeted Institutional organisations in Asia. This will involve establishing and nurturing regular contacts at the highest level of the client organisation (senior level management access). In addition to fostering external relationships, the successful candidate will maintain and develop an internal network amongst global peers in Financial Institutions, product sales teams and the Bank's network to work in partnership with other business lines identify opportunities and design the best solutions.
You will be expected to actively maintain and develop a broad, detailed, strategic and technical knowledge in respect of product, processes and market awareness applicable to financial institutions and market the widest base of the Bank's products including FX, Capital Markets issuance and investment, Securitisation, Debt, Deposits, Trade and Transactional Banking.
