Track record in managing a large, culturally diverse staff within a highly regulated operating environment
· Possess strong oral and written communication skills which enable complex ideas to be readily understood by fellow team members, other areas of the firm, and the firm's clients.
· CFA or similar professional qualification, or further relevant analytical degree in relevant subject is required. Strong modelling skills are essential as are good presentational skills.
· Excellent demonstrable knowledge of FSA and SEC rules and guidelines with the ability to apply that knowledge on a commercial basis is essential. Ideally a recognised industry or Compliance qualification is desirable.
· Firm fundamental grasp of equity research and the competitive landscape with understanding of challenges facing the evolving marketplace
· Possesses the necessary gravitas to engage with senior management at Executive level and provide the necessary challenges to the status quo or to escalate issues as and when they arise to a level beyond immediate line management when required
· Ability to perform with minimal supervision
· Able to effectively interact with a diverse client base
· Bachelors degree required; MBA, Series 16 (Supervisory Analyst) license highly preferred
