Director of Marketing


Our client, a technology development company within the emerging cloud-computing space, is seeking a Director of Marketing to have overall responsibility for designing and executing the company's marketing strategy. This position is located in Raleigh-Durham, NC.

The Opportunity:

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing a comprehensive go to market strategy with an emphasis on market awareness and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have real world, demonstrable experience in a related industry, have big picture vision, and be able to roll up their sleeves to pitch in and get the job done.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with executive management to develop key messaging strategy and positioning and then work to ensure this is communicated throughout marketing programs and collateral

  • Plan and execute on marketing programs including Tradeshows, seminar series, online lead generation, webinars, newsletters, and others
  • Manage partner marketing programs
  • Manage and develop marketing collateral: print, electronic, and online
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and support channel development programs and activities
  • Work with and manage the activities of a variety of external agencies and contractors as well as a growing marketing team
