Director of Solution Sales
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Technical Sales is an integral part of the sales process providing pre-sales technical knowledge and presentations, and subject-matter expert who works closely with sales managers to build customer relationship and prospects by demonstrating how a proposed solution meets and exceeds customer requirements. Enterprise Solution Saless Department is a part of Technical Sales Department, which is focusing on design and present end to end solution to customers based on deep understanding of their business development and Huawei product portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Director of Enterprise Solution Sales - Storage Products is responsible for building and leading a team of solution sales managers in the Storage Products space. The team’s role is to work with account managers and product managers of different product lines to design and present Huawei cross-product solutions to customers with solution sales process.
- The focus of the team is to engage with customers to understand their business development strategies, investment plan, existing IT infrastructure and pain points, explore sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets by working with other sales team members. The team will also focus on enhancing Huawei product and solution brand image by organizing series of branding activities.
- The director will also take solution sales role in some key projects to engage with customers to enhance their perception and recognizing on Huawei.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Refers to the job, not the incumbent)
Education and/or Certifications/Licensures:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Telecommunications degree is a must.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Telecommunications degree
Relevant Work Experience:
- Self-driven, target oriented.
- 10+ years product management experience in enterprise storage products, such as SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network-attached storage), SSD (Solid State Drive) backup/restore and so on.
- Focused on storage field in the past 5 years
- Strong capability in organizing and management the team.
- Familiar with product plan, roadmap management, requirement analysis, competitor analysis.
- Excellent presentation and consultative skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills and must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Profound understanding about NA industry market, rich knowledge of enterprise market, business model and services. (Internet, Media,education, large enterprise and so on)
Skills (Technical or General):
- 15~20 years of technical sales experience in the Storage Products space
- 5+ years team management experience.
