Discretionary Investment Manager – Leeds recruitment

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships and manage discretionary portfolios.

• Monitor and review portfolio strategy and investment on a general and portfolio specific level, applying the principles of Suitability, TFC and KYC.

• Ensuring that a first class service is provided to all clients, at all times and in a timely manner.

• Combine with established team and office personnel to develop and advance the business.

• Understand and comply with all of the FSA regulations and principles applying to the role as an Approved Person with the FSA.

• Interact with all team members to ensure the smooth management of clients’ accounts, understanding the functions and roles that all personnel play in this client service.

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of markets and products.

• Building and developing of a client base – nurturing the client referral momentum and identifying new business opportunities.

• Support and assist in team and office marketing initiatives.

• To perform all necessary actions required to comply with all FSA rules and regulations applicable to the role.

Requirements Experience

A high level of experience in client relationship management and managing discretionary portfolios on behalf of clients is a prerequisite.

• CF30

• Full CISI Diploma; CISI Masters in Wealth Management or ‘equivalent approved examination’.

• RDR compliant – on-going.

• Likely to be educated to degree level.
