Distribution Strategy Manager – West Europe recruitment

In order to achieve these objectives, we set the rules according to which Discovery’s network portfolio will be sold (bundling, pricing and packaging) and drive their implementation whilst supporting local sales teams on key deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rigorous and detailed profitability analyses of current and future deals to ensure compliance with long term growth strategy as set by SVP, GM Distribution;

• Drive the implementation of current distribution strategy and help re-shape future strategy;

• Support local sales team in their implementation of a new Strategic Account Management Process, which aims to develop client relationships in a more systematic manner;

Other Responsibilities:

• Coordinate finance, legal, operations and commercial teams to ensure all deal fulfillment is completed accurately and in a timely manner;

• Support business development activities of the commercial team through research and analysis;

• Supervise and train junior team members to a high standard in analysis and research of past, current and future deals;

Key Requirements:

• In depth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;

• Extensive project management and analytical experience, preferably from an investment banking or management consultancy background;

• Advanced communication skills with specific experience in negotiation and/or implementing major organizational change;

Desirable:

• Combines strategic, mature and independent thinking with sound judgment;

• Is able to translate market and consumer insights into creative strategies;

• Takes a long-view, optimising deals within the context of future renewals;
