Domain Architect | Risk and Finance | Investment banking recruitment
My client, a leading global investment bank, are currently seeking a senior Domain Architect to join the IT business architecture team. This is a centralised function that sits between business and technology, taking an overall and condensed view of all business architecture taking place in pockets throughout the bank. The goal of the function is to ensure continuity and compliance to architecture standards throughout the bank and to police both solution and enterprise architects.
The role will cover interaction with the user community across all risk and finance teams with a view to aligning both user groups and reviewing what can be supported architecturally. This will require a mix of domain architecture experience as well as having a planning capacity. You will need a good understanding of business analysis and be capable of running reviews to ensure end-state compliance, as well as testing of proposals from the solutions architects.
Required:
- Use of existing toolsets as well as looking to bring new toolsets on board.
- TOGAF and an enterprise architecture planning background, ideally planning IT from alphabet which they will be using going forwards
- Any other architecture modelling tools
- Powertools
- Sparks enterprise architect
- Risk and finance business knowledge - 5 years plus in this area, in financial reporting, RWA, risk reporting, Basel III, PnL attribution.
- Any exposure or knowledge of Hadoop, big data etc.
