EMEA AML Analytics Analyst recruitment
This role sits within the EMEA AML Program Management group, and is required to assure the quality of analytic reporting analysis and deliverables. It is a temporary role to cover a permanent headcobrowunt who recently left.
• Production of metrics and other reporting. Defining and collating key metrics, trends and pattern analysis.
• Delivery of monthly regulatory-required AML Analytics reporting
• EMEA point of contact for the Global Analytics project (SME / testing)
• Streamlining / re-engineering the EMEA end-to-end (e2e) Analytics process to assure the quality of output required by customers
• Issue identification, documentation, and tracking to include Key Risk Indicator (KRIs), root cause, trends and issues
• Stakeholder management of the other global and regional teams in the e2e process.
• Regular liaison with individual project working groups, other regional and global project teams
• Business Analysis; mapping of processes and documentation of procedures using standard tools and templates. Drive consolidation and simplification of PMO and Analytics processes
• Promoting Analytics function - offering training and support across the wider group for shared processes and procedures
• Responsibility for managing own projects, and taking the role of regional SME or lead on global initiatives
Knowledge/ Experience
• 4+ years professional experience in a large organisation
• Previous experience working in an analytical role required
Qualifications
• Graduate or equivalent level education
• Formal project management training, or qualification (PRINCE II / PMP etc) an advantage
• Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered providing they have the necessary skills and experience
Skills
• Excellent written and personal communication skills
• Numerate, and comfortable with basic financial analysis techniques
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel (including pivot tables and charts)
• VBA, Visio, and SharePoint an advantage
• Business analysis, process mapping and procedure documentation
