EMEA Operational Risk Manager – Alternative Investments recruitment
Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of enterprise-wide risk policies, standards and processes in the EMEA based businesses, along with risk aggregation and reporting for the EMEA region for Asset Management. The role will provide independent oversight and guidance to risk management in the asset management international line of business.
The role is within the asset management business line, however there will be work and projects that cut across all business lines within EMEA and Internationally.
Candidate requirements:
• Operational risk experience from within either of the following: asset management, private banking, investment banking, treasury functions, brokerages.
• Strong expertise of risk assessment processes, very good understanding of key performance indicators relevant for the role, event analysis.
• Ideally a working knowledge of the ICAAP processes, strong product knowledge and business change experience.
• It would be desirable to have some experience of accounting / balance sheet management / experience around consolidated reports.
• Previous project management experience would be ideal in order to provide project management and coordination for Asset Management wide risk initiatives in EMEA.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
