EMEA Statistical Demand Planner – Morges , Switzerland recruitment
Reporting to - Senior Manager, EMEA Forecast and Planning
Summary
You will work closely with the central demand planning and product team to produce and maintain a timely and accurate un-constrained demand signal and be a key contributor to our SOP process. You will be conformable with ‘big data’ and be able to extract and share insights with proven statistical methods as well as building, enhancing and providing feedback on these topics to the global organization. This is a new role to the organization, so you will be prepared to start from scratch and work with the team to improve our business knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the regional statistical forecast on a weekly cycle
- Support the local Demand Planners with insights and knowledge extracted from our internal datasets and models
- Work with the global organization to improve statistical baseline
- Scenario modeling, as appropriate
Skills and Experience
- Skilled at applying statistical and analytical processes to drive strategic business decisions in an ambiguous environment
- A decisive motivated self starter, with demonstrated initiative and the ability to work under pressure; both cross functionally and within a team environment
- Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) with senior / executive level management and the ability to present data in levels of detail appropriate for the audience
- MBA with a Pure Mathematics or Statistics background (Econometrics or Quantitative Economics preferred).
- Experience in forecasting, reporting and analysis tools/databases
- Expert in a variety of PC applications included statistical applications
