The core purpose of this position is to ensure positive employee engagement across the enterprise while supporting, implementing and managing the employee and labor relations environment. Specifically, this role exists to: Facilitate programs and services aimed at fostering a more engaging environment, leveraging Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) results and other analytics -collaborate with the business leadership and legal to: - increase the efficiency and reduce the costs of employee relations processes -ensure thorough, accurate and timely data/information input to the knowledge management and case mnagement systems -Understand and utilize the reporting system ensure all employees are treated fairly and equitably by: -providing emergency response to acute employee relations situations -ensuring compliance with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) regulations and rulings, employment legislation and company employee relations policies, practices and procedures -adhering to thorough and consistent investigation and case management practices manage the employee complaint handling and resolution process understand all employee relations policies, practices and procedures in the knowledge management system investigates and resolves employee complaints Competencies Interpersonal Sensitivity: Understands and accurately interprets concerns, motives, and feelings, defusing negative emotion of others and helping to calm them. POSITION REQUIREMENTS 5 years experience in a multi-state corporate environment, with 3 years experience triaging and managing employee complaints 5 years experience in labor relations or union avoidance environment 5 years experience interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, programs and processes, including general employee compensation policies and practices BS/BA Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business or equivalent. Ability to travel, this position will travel up to 80%.
