Exchange Connectivity Specialist - Electronic Trading (FX) - Investment Banking
My client, a leading investment bank are looking for a Exchange Connectivity Specialist to work within their Market Electronic Trading area specifically within FX. The required candidate will be brought onsite to identify any potential short comings on the exchanges and plan an approach as well as execute advanced optimization work.
The candidate will have a deep understanding of the FX business and need to understand the market structure of every exchange. This resource will be reporting directly to the business. My client is looking for someone with exceptional analytical skills and a strong understanding of software.
Skill Set:
Have deep understanding of market microstructure and internal venue architecture
Have deep understanding of price formation and market data distribution per specific venue
Have expertise how to accelerate market ticks processing and order submissions
Have proven record of accomplishing specified business goals by implementation various execution strategies and by tuning connectivity layer
Ability to analyze and correlate market data with transactional data. Ability to experiment with different trading strategies, order types, price discovery algorithms, etc. Ability to back test these strategies and maintain the proper reporting
Strong FX knowledge.
Business objectives and success criteria:
Produce measurable improvements to market execution strategies and connectivity layer; demonstrate how to Improve fill rate of the limit order targeted top of the book quotes
Identify deficiency in the current trading processing and connectivity plant. Introduce an improvement plan to Optimize transaction cost ; maximize exchange rebates; reduce market impact
