Job Description
Provide a best in class professional and effective debt and capital management service for a specified portfolio of Property clients, through:
·proactive management of the aftercare of credit and asset risk
·minimisation of loan loss provisioning
·comprehensive portfolio reporting
Responsible for Balance Sheet management and data quality.
Establish Relationships with targeted new connections within REF sector.
Requirements
Proven risk assessment, monitoring and control skills with an understanding of restructuring techniques
Comprehensive Business, Credit and Financial Risk Analysis skills
Property sector knowledge, including deal structuring of both Development and Investment transactions.
Proven well-developed inter-personal skills and the ability to establish robust relationships both internally and externally
Highly developed negotiation and networking skills
Strong customer relationship skills
Develop deliverable strategies in respect of risk, management pricing.
Responsibilities
Proactive management and early identification of under performing assets via detailed assessment and analysis of information received from a portfolio of property clients
Analyse sector specific financial and other information to present properly structured credit applications
Renegotiate interest rates, fees (including fee participation agreements) with clients resulting from recommended courses of action to mitigate risk, particularly on restructures, and maximise income / profitability where appropriate
Provide debt structuring solutions which balance customer needs with risk, make the best use of capital, and which utilise the full range of funding options available across the group.
Maximise business performance through working with the SRM teams and Regional Coverage Banking RM teams
The Individual
Proven risk assessment skills with an understanding of restructuring techniques.
Proven ability to analyse and interpret financial statements including profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow.
