Exec Director, Learning & Development, Asia Pacific – US I-Bank recruitment

Our client is a prestigious US Investment Bank. This role represents an exciting opportunity for a senior learning and development professional to be part of the growth of the function across the Asia Pacific.

Reporting to the Global Head of L D, you will be responsible for analyzing the LD needs of specific business units as well as designing and developing training programs across the Asia Pacific region. You will be required to liaise extensively with third party vendors, co-ordinate the distribution of information to employees and potentially carry out some delivery and facilitation work. As well as managing the regional budget, you will oversee and manage a team of L D professionals in the region.

The successful candidate will be degree educated with at least 10 years' experience working within Regional Learning and Development roles in large multinational organisations. You will have detailed knowledge of LD needs assessment, program design and development, the facilitation of workshops, and vendor management. Ideally you will have experience within Financial Services, fluency in English is essential with Cantonese and /or Mandarin being advantageous. Above all you must be highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with a strong team-player mentality and the gravitas and confidence to work within a fast moving US Investment Bank.
