We currently have the opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our Central Executive Office, EMEA. Reporting to Business Manager and working with Executive Assistant to our CEO- Macquarie EMEA. It will be your responsibility to ensure support requirements operate smoothly and efficiently.
This is a fast paced role requiring a positive, confident and proactive approach as well as exceptional time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Extensive diary management
- Arranging client events and meetings and co-ordinating diaries for all of team
- Providing research assistance for client, company and news briefs
- Booking business travel and accommodation, visas, meeting rooms, conference calls, restaurants etc
- Client and inter-departmental liaison
- Answering the telephone and dealing with all calls professionally
- Compilation of out-of-pocket expenses and completion of expense claims and invoices
- Maintaining an office 'paper' and 'electronic' filing system
- Printing, binding, gathering meeting materials
This role is pivotal to the success of the team and provides an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated Executive Assistant looking for a position that offers both diversity and personal growth.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have advanced skills on MS Word, PowerPoint and intermediate Excel
- Be reasonably comfortable using Bloomberg and other research and financial news portals
- Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to fully understand the nature of the business and priorities within the team
- Be resourceful and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Take pride in your work displaying a high level of attention to detail and a strong client service orientation
- Thrive in a dynamic business where accuracy, hard work, timeliness and flexibility are imperative
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
