About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a recently qualified CA or CPA to join the Finance team supporting the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) division. In this role you will liaise extensively with staff involved in the creation of BFS products and services, operations staff, internal and external auditors, and central finance areas.
Key responsibilities will include:
- ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records
- completing journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- reviewing business unit and legal entity balance sheets and income statements
- supporting the business with quality information and responses to ad hoc requests
- involvement with the preparation of financial statements
About you
To be successful, you will have the confidence, drive and problem solving skills to innovate and deliver great outcomes. You will also have:
- CA or CPA qualification
- outstanding communication skills
- a team oriented approach to working with colleagues (both in Australia and offshore)
- ability to work with minimal supervision on recurring responsibilities
- exceptional attention to detail
- a genuine interest in the financial services industry
