About the role
The Group Capital Funding team (GCF) has an opportunity for an Executive to join the Decision Support team in Sydney. The Group Capital Funding team (GCF) within FMG is responsible for Financial Control Operations, Management Reporting Hedge Accounting activity within the Corporate Centre. In this role you will further develop your understanding of the funding, capital and liquidity of the group and have exposure to the entire Group funded balance sheet, in a dynamic and challenging role.
You will be responsible for:
- monthly reporting and analysis on the Group Funded Balance Sheet, which is a key input to the half yearly group Management Discussion Analysis (MDA) document
- performance of reporting around the Group's liquidity position
- monthly analysis of the GCF Balance Sheet and PL, including preparation of a management reporting pack which is presented to the CFO each month
- forecasting of the GCF full year management PL
- hedging all the FX exposures of the Corporate Centre and ensuring compliance with Group hedging policies
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- CA qualification
- experience in Financial Services, a Big 4 Accounting Firm, or an ASX listed company
- advanced excel and analytical skills
- strong knowledge of the funding, capital and liquidity requirements of a large bank would be preferable
- exceptional relationship building / stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
